See final snowfall totals for Upstate NY’s first big winter storm of 2024 (chart)

Syracuse, N.Y. — The numbers are in: Upstate New York’s first snowstorm of 2024 was a whopper.

The top snowfall total out of more than 450 locations was in the hamlet of Milton, in Hudson Valley’s Ulster County, which got 18 inches. At least 18 spots in seven counties saw a foot or more, according to storm reports compiled by the National Weather Service.
