Cortland, N.Y. — Camryn Calabro and Bella Brogan each scored three times and Paige Willard dished out six assists to spark the Skaneateles girls lacrosse team to an 11-6 win over Bronxville in the state Class D championship game on Saturday morning at SUNY Cortland.
The title was the fifth in program history and the first since 2017. The Lakers also avenged a loss to Bronxville in last yearโs title game. The effort was a fitting capper to a near-perfect season in which Skaneateles won 20 of its 21 games.
