DeWitt, N.Y. — State troopers arrested 13 people on various drug and gun charges last week in DeWitt during a two-day crackdown.
Police made 153 traffic stops, issued 91 tickets and towed nine vehicles on Jan. 22 and 23, said Trooper Jack Keller, a state police spokesperson.
The 13 arrests led to 19 misdemeanors and the seizure of crack, heroin, meth, cocaine and ecstasy, Keller said. Police also recovered a loaded ghost gun, a hand gun and brass knuckles.
Police charged:
- John A. Susco, 40, of Syracuse, with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Amanda E. Freyleve, 37, of DeWitt, with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Chole R. Wall, 23, of Florida, with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Raqueeb A. Shadreem, 26, of Syracuse, with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Tazelil R. Prince, 22, of Clay, with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
- Cole A. Brossoit, 31, of Syracuse, with felony DWAI, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in original container.
- Ashik A. Williams, 28, of Syracuse, with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
- Cristian A. Melendez, 25, of Syracuse, with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
- Anthony P. Schardt, 39, of Salina, with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.
- Bakhtiyer E. Bulatov, 29, of Syracuse, with possessing a forged instrument.
- Michael P. Cosgrave, 41, of Syracuse, with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
