Syracuse football class of 2024: A final look at the Orange’s new additions

Syracuse, N.Y. — With National Signing Day in the rearview mirror, recruiting focus officially flips from the class of 2024 to 2025.

Many of this year’s signees have already joined their new programs at their new schools, leaving high school behind early in exchange for extra time bulking up in a college strength and conditioning program.

Syracuse football added a total 23 players between the two signing periods for the 2024 cycle. The class is ranked in the Top 40 by 247Sports (No. 40), On3 Sports (No. 38) and ESPN (No. 42).

Here’s a bit about each of SU’s class of 2024 high school and junior college additions.

Jamie Tremble, TE

Early enrollee? No.

Tremble has already been named the successor to Oronde Gadsden II by new head coach Fran Brown. He’ll have at least a season to learn under the Orange superstar pass-catcher, who opted to return to SU for another year over declaring early for the NFL Draft.

Tremble (6-foot-4, 210 pounds) had 63 catches for 1,290 yards and 15 touchdowns his senior year and was the Gwinnett County Player of the Year and regional player of the year. He had over 160 receptions, 2,800 yards and 31 touchdowns in his high school career.

KingJoseph Edwards, DE

Early enrollee? Yes.

Without anyone having seen him play yet, Edwards has become on of Orange fans’ new favorite players thanks to his passion for community service and unique social media presence.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound edge rusher from Hoschton, Georgia, chose Syracuse over Florida State and Colorado back in December due in large part to his relationship with Brown and DEs coach Nick Williams, both of whom had recruited him at their previous coaching stops.

Jaden Hart, RB

Early enrollee? Yes.

Hart (6-foot, 205 pounds), the No. 11 player in Indiana per the 247Sports Composite, attended Michigan City High School, a regular producer of Division I talent. He had over 1,500 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns his senior season.

In his four-year career, he logged 4,000 rushing yards and 30…
