The Syracuse women’s basketball team lost at the JMA Wireless Dome for the first time this season on Sunday, falling to 75-62 to No. 19 Virginia Tech.

Georgia Amoore, a projected top-10 WNBA draft prospect, led the Hokies (7-2 ACC, 16-4 overall) with 29 points, while Matilda Ekh and Cayla King combined for eight 3-pointers. Guards Georgia Woolley and Dyaisha Fair combined for 32 points for the 22nd-ranked Orange (7-2, 17-3).
