Fifth-year guard Dyaisha Fair, one of the best scorers in the history of Division I basketball, may be playing her final game in the JMA Wireless Dome. Fair, just five points shy of passing Baylor great Brittney Griner for fifth on the Division I career scoring list, is among the seniors being honored during the final regular-season home game.
The Orange is vying for a top-four seed in the NCAA Tournament, which would allow for an opportunity to host first- and second-round games in the dome.
Pittsburgh is expected to offer less resistance than Duke did on Thursday night, when the Orange suffered just its second home loss of the season. The Panthers (8-20, 2-13) are near the bottom of the ACC standings.
In the teams’ previous meeting, the Orange won, 72-59 in Pittsburgh.
