Tompkins County real estate: 10 most expensive homes sold, Nov. 18-24

A house in Ulysses that sold for $785,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Tompkins County in the past week.

In total, 14 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $361,673. The average price per square foot ended up at $202.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Nov. 18 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $249K, single-family home at 464 Trumbulls Corners Road

A sale has been finalized for the single-family home at 464 Trumbulls Corners Road in Enfield. The price was $248,500 and the new owners took over the house in November. The house was built in 1959 and the living area totals 1,300 square feet. The price per square foot ended up at $191. The deal was finalized on Nov. 1.

9. $275K, single-family house at 30 Besemer Road

The sale of the single family residence at 30 Besemer Road in Caroline has been finalized. The price was $275,000, and the new owners took over the house in November. The house was built in 1956 and has a living area of 1,775 square feet. The price per square foot was $155. The deal was finalized on Nov. 2.

The 1,848 square-foot manufactured home at 429 W. Groton Road, Groton, has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in November and the total purchase price was $321,490, $174 per square foot. The house was built in 2007. The deal was finalized on Nov. 3.
