Utica Notre Dame storms from behind to defeat Albany Academy in girls hoops Class B state final

Troy, N.Y. — Utica Notre Dame stormed from behind to defeat Section II’s Albany Academy for Girls, 55-51, in the Class B state championship at Hudson Valley Community College.

In the opening quarter, it was the combination of the Jugglers’ struggles on the offensive end and the Bears’ dead-eye shooting from distance that put Notre Dame in an early 18-8 hole.
