The NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Selection Show, a.k.a. Selection Sunday, marks the official kickoff of March Madness 2024, and it all takes place Sunday, March 17, 2024 (3/17/2024) at 6 p.m. ET.

During the Selection Show, the NCAA Selection Committee will unveil the full bracket for the 2024 NCAA Tournament. That includes 32 automatic bids who won conference tournaments — like Colgate, Vermont and James Madison — and 36 at-large qualifiers, all seeded in the bracket based on their performance throughout the season, and other factors.
Some conference tournaments go right up until earlier in the day on Sunday, which means automatic bids from the SEC, Big Ten and Ivy League won’t be confirmed until right before the Selection Show.
