State lottery officials announced that a $50,000 winning Power Ball ticket was sold for the July 3 drawing in Canandaigua.
The Wegmans store located on Eastern Boulevard was the location where the ticket was sold.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69.
The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The winning ticket in Canandaigua was a third prize-winning ticket.
