State police arrested a Virginia resident for driving while intoxicated in Cayuga County last week.
On Friday, July 21 troopers observed a vehicle speeding on Genesee Street Road in Sennett.
After a roadside investigation, 73-year-old Valerie Gaffney was arrested for DWI.
Police said her BAC was over 0.08%.
The charge will be answered at a later date in Sennett court.
