The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested 43-year-old Charlotte A. Blaisdell of Auburn on charges of Petit Larceny after an incident at a local business on January 30 around 7:08 p.m. Blaisdell was caught with a shopping cart full of merchandise, attempting to leave the store without paying for the items.
Authorities were called to the scene following a theft complaint, where they observed Blaisdell bypassing all checkout points without making any effort to pay for the goods in her cart. The police promptly intervened, leading to her arrest based on the evidence of her actions.
Following her arrest, Blaisdell was issued an appearance ticket, mandating her to appear in court at a future date to respond to the charges against her.
