A 38-year-old man from Bath, Joshua Wormley, has been handed a 10-year prison sentence for child pornography by the federal court.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office emphasized that the severity of Wormley’s sentence was influenced by his previous conviction related to child sexual performance.
Authorities reported in February 2021 that Wormley had a cellphone with roughly 800 child pornography images and two videos, some of which involved prepubescent minors. The investigation was jointly managed by the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force and the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
