Forward Benny Williams has been dismissed from the Syracuse Orange basketball team. The news was released Tuesday morning from the team’s social media accounts. No further details as to why the dismissal occurred were reported.
Williams, a junior forward, was averaging 5.4 points per game this season. He was suspended at the beginning of the season for a violation of team rules and missed time last season while dealing with personal matters. Williams is a former five star recruit in the 2021 class.
