The Buffalo Bills improved to 2-1 with a dominant 37-3 victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday at FedEx Field, handing them their first loss of the season.
Buffaloโs defense shined again, holding Washington to 230 total yards, forcing five turnovers, and tallying nine sacks. Terrel Bernard led the way, recording seven tackles, two sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. AJ Epenesa notched a pick-six, while TreโDavious White and Micah Hyde added interceptions.ย
Josh Allen completed 20-of-32 passes for 218 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also ran the ball three times for 46 yards, including a 10-yard score.
Latavius Murray found the end zone for the second time this season, while James Cook carried the ball 15 times for 98 yards.
Stefon Diggs hauled in eight passes for 111 yards, his second straight game with over 100 yards receiving.
