Bills name Joe Brady offensive coordinator

The Buffalo Bills promoted interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady to the full-time role, the team announced Sunday.

Brady became the interim OC after Ken Dorsey was fired following Buffalo’s 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 10. Once the move was made, the Bills went 7-2, including the postseason.

Buffalo averaged 27.1 points per game with Brady and also helped get the running game going. The team ran for at least 105 yards in each game.

Quarterback Josh Allen was vocal in his support of Brady during his season-ending press conference.

“I would fully embrace it,” Allen said. “I love Joe. I love what he brings to this team, to our offense, the juice that he has [and] the passion that he has for football. How much preparation he’s put into a tough situation these last seven to eight weeks. He’s got my vote.”
