The Buffalo Bills have re-signed defensive end A.J. Epenesa to a two-year contract worth up to $20 million, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Epenesa tested the free market as an unrestricted free agent but decided to return to the Bills, the team that drafted him in the second round of the 2020 draft.
The 25-year-old appeared in 15 games with Buffalo last season, recording 20 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown.
Epenesa is the second player to re-sign with Buffalo on Monday, joining defensive back Cam Lewis.
