Bills re-sign S Taylor Rapp, bring back QB Mitch Trubisky

After releasing six players to clear cap space, the Buffalo Bills re-signed safety Taylor Rapp and brought back quarterback Mitch Trubisky, ESPNโ€™s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.

Rapp returns to Buffalo on a three-year contract worth $14.5 million, while Trubiskyโ€™s contract details are not yet known.

Rapp, 26, played in 16 games for the Bills in 2023. He tallied one interception, two pass deflections, and 33 total tackles.ย 

Trubisky, 29, spent the past two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers after backing up Josh Allen in 2021.

Additionally, Buffalo re-signed offensive lineman David Edwards to a two-year, $6M contract and punter Matt Haack to a one-year contract worth $1.1M.
