With three weeks left until the regular season begins, the Buffalo Bills reportedly added some depth to their backfield.
The club is expected to sign veteran running back Ty Johnson, according to ESPNโs Jeremy Fowler.
Johnson, 25, spent the last three seasons with theย New York Jets but was released by the team in April after tearing his pec during an offseason workout. However, he has been medically cleared and is ready to play.
Over his five-year career, Johnson has caught 86 of his 131 targets for 668 yards and three touchdowns while tacking on 925 yards rushing on a 4.4 yards per carry average.ย
