Bloomfield driver ticketed after crash with dump truck in Ontario County

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on a crash that happened late-Wednesday at the intersection of County Road 41 and Strong Road.

A little before 11 p.m. Allison Warney-Cassano, 42, of Bloomfield was traveling south on Strong Road, when a dumptruck operated by Jamie Philbee, 61, of Wolcott was traveling east on County Road 41.

Deputies said in a release, Warney-Cassano entered the intersection, and failed to yield the right of way, causing a crash.

Fishers Fire and Victor Farmington EMS responded as well as the sheriff’s office and one person was hospitalized.

County Road 41 was briefly shut down while crews worked the scene.
