Residents between Canandaigua and Clifton Springs reported significant flooding Monday afternoon and evening as roughly 2 inches of rain fell in a matter of hours.
While the region was unusually dry over the last two weeks, the rain fell so fast that it couldnโt be contained.
Elizabeth Button captured this video from the Blossoms Motel on 5&20, which saw significant flooding.
Closer to Canandaigua Lake, first responders around Crystal Beach were kept busy as water rushed across roads.

While crews were able to get most of the flood damage cleaned up by morning, more rain is expected on Wednesday across the entire Finger Lakes.
