The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Cannadaigua man following an incident at the Ontario County Jail.
According to a news release, Nathaniel Waffner, 40, was arrested for aggravated harassment after threatening another incarcerated person.
In addition to making the threat, deputies said there was a racial component to the incident, which resulted in the elevated charge.
He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
