Police in Canandaigua arrested a 56-year-old man on felony charges after an investigation on Gibson Street.
According to police, Robert Dixon, of Canandaigua was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, menacing, and aggravated family offense.
The charges stem from an investigation where he choked a person at that address.
Dixon was taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
