Police in Canandaigua report the arrest of an Ontario County man after a domestic incident on Chapin Street.
According to police, Mark Rankin, 62, of Canandaigua violated an active court order by having contact with the protected party from it.
The contact was described as a phone call, but additional details were not provided.
He was charged with criminal contempt and will apppear in city court at a later date to answer the charge.
