The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office provided new information late-Thursday about an accident that happened during the morning hours.
Darren Debs, 31, of Canandaigua was traveling north on Sandhill Road in the town of Canandaigua when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled multiple times.
He landed in a field on the west side of the road and was extricated from the vehicle by Canandaigua Fire.
Debs was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with upper body injuries.
Deputies said they believe speed was a factor.
