The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a personal injury crash that happened at the intersection of Emerson and Sand Hill roads around 3 p.m. on Friday.
Deputies say an SUV operated by 84-year-old Louis Buccini, of Canandaigua was traveling west on Emerson Road when a vehicle operated by Mark McWilliams, 69, of Canandaigua failed to yield the right of way and cross the intersection heading north.
The two vehicles collided causing extensive damage to both.
Buccini’s passenger was transported to Thompson Hospital for minor injuries.
Mcwilliams was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
