Cayuga County experienced a significant power outage on Sunday, affecting over 3,000 NYSEG customers.
The utility company ultimately restored power by evening, but the town of Owasco was hardest hit with 1,604 residents without power.
Other affected areas include the town of Fleming, city of Auburn, and towns of Sennett and Scipio.
