Deputies arrested a Phelps man for driving while intoxicated after a welfare check at the Byrne Dairy along Route 96.
Jeffrey Galloway, 57, was found to have been intoxicated while driving to the Byrne Dairy. He then suffered facial injuries after falling onto the pavement from a standing height.
He was transported to Clifton Springs Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance, then later arrested for DWI.
The charges will be answered in Phelps Town Court at a later date.
