In celebration of National Good Neighbor Day on September 28, Community Bank continued its six-year tradition of making donations to local causes and organizations across its four-state footprint, reinforcing its commitment to having a positive impact in the communities it serves.
CEO Mark Tryniski emphasized the importance of the day for the bank, symbolizing its priority of being a good neighbor and helping build thriving communities where their customers and team members reside. “It’s about making a difference and helping one cause, one person, one community at a time—together,” said Tryniski.
This year, two branches of Community Bank have decided to support different local organizations. The Canandaigua branch is making a contribution of $250 to the Friendship House of Middlesex Food Pantry. Concurrently, the Penn Yan branch has chosen to donate $250 to the Veterans One Stop Center of WNY, Inc. This donation will specifically assist the “We Are Dwyer” program in Yates County.
