CONCRETE JUNGLE: Questionable Decisions, Bad Weather, and the Return of the Offense (podcast)

It’s been a rather interesting week for the New York baseball teams. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans discuss the comments made by Yankees GM Brian Cashman amid the struggles of the team. They also talk about Aaron Boone’s continued questionable decision-making that affected the team during the Guardians series. Paul and Kyle talk about Harrison Bader returning only to get hurt and Oswald Peraza turning his ankle as well. They preview the weekend ahead for the Yankees in Tampa against the Rays.

The Mets were swept in Detroit in a doubleheader on Wednesday. Paul and Kyle talk about how it may be deeper than just saying they were outplayed given the conditions. They also discuss the returns of Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer among a host of other arms nearing a big-league return. The guys look ahead to the series back in Citi Field against the Rockies.

Weather is once again causing havoc for Rochester and Syracuse. Paul and Kyle look at the offenses doing the work for the teams and some more recent additions to the Red Wings roster.
