A 40-year-old Corning man has been indicted in one of the largest revenge porn cases in local history.
Corey C. Warner, was indicted on a staggering 263 crimes on Tuesday, marking a grim series of events that allegedly transpired within a month, from February 14 to March 14, 2023.
Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker said the charges included endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree criminal contempt, public display of offensive sexual conduct, unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, and aggravated family offense, with the last being a class E felony.
Warner was accused of disseminating intimate images of a victim against their will, in an act commonly referred to as ‘revenge porn’.
This marks the first such case taken up in Steuben County, representing the harsh reality of those intent on inflicting harm by sharing private images publicly.
