Deputies: Geneva man violated court order from jail, faces new felony charge

Deputies arrested a Geneva resident on a felony contempt charge at the Ontario County Jail following an investigation in October.

On December 13, Pedro Juan Morales, 37, was arrested for criminal contempt after events that unfolded at the Ontario County Jail on October 2.

According to a news release, Morales contacted a third-party from the jail. That person was a protected party in an active court order.

Due to the violation he was arrested on a felony count of criminal contempt.

He remained in custody at the Ontario County Jail, deputies said, and will appear in local court at a later date to answer the charge.
