The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident in the town of Ovid at around 7:05 p.m. on Friday.
Following their investigation, deputies arrested Mark E. Plate, 36, of Ovid on charges including endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment, and menacing.
Authorities said Plate drove a vehicle toward an individual during the domestic disturbance while a young child was present in the car. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Plate was subsequently taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility and held for arraignment.
