Deputies arrested a Farmington man following a series of events at the Ontario County Jail.
Hector Medina, 27, is accused of damaging a computer tablet that was valued at $69.99 at the jail.
He was incarcerated at the time, according to deputies, who say that the tablet was issued to him.
The sheriff’s office didn’t release details of the events that led to the damaged tablet, or his arrest.
He was charged with criminal mischief and will answer the charge at a later date.
