The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Yates County duo after an investigation at the Great Clips location in Victor.
Deputies were called to Great Clips on Commerce Drive for a report of a child who was left in a car unattended.
Further investigation revealed that Justin Brooks, 27, and Rochel Wells, 26, left the child in the vehicle for over 20 minutes alone. They were apparently shopping at Gamestop.
Both were placed into custody a little before 1 p.m. and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. They will appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
