The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 25-year-old man following an assault at the county jail.
On January 17 deputies arrested Dylan Smith, 25, for assault after striking and injuring another inmate at the jail.
Smith was charged with second-degree assault, which is a felony.
He was arraigned and returned into custody of the jail.
