Felony charges follow road rage investigation in Steuben

Authorities reported the arrest of Joseph A McCallum, 43, of Osceola, Pennsylvania, on charges stemming from a July road rage episode in the Town of Lindley.

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard confirmed that on July 15 McCallum allegedly targeted another vehicle, resulting in a collision that caused injury and damage.

McCallum faces several charges, including first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree assault, and second-degree criminal mischief, all class D felonies.

Additionally, heโ€™s charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class E felony. Following arraignment, McCallum is being held as a fugitive from justice in Pennsylvania.

Sheriff Allard expressed gratitude to the City of Corning Police Department for their collaboration in the arrest.
