Police arrested a Geneva man after a probation violation warrant was issued in the city.
According to a news release, police say Spencer Tapscott, 22, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, as a felony, afer a brief foot chase.
He was in violation of probation, but was also found to be in possession of a large quantity of controlled substances, which police say were intended for sale.
Tapscott then resisted arrest after receiving medical attention following this incident.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
