The Geneva Police Department is investigating a stabbing that happened at a residence on Genesee Street on Tuesday.
It happened around 6:38 p.m., according to police, who say officers found a 38-year-old male suffering from a single stab wound to the upper body.
The man, who is a resident of the city, was transported to a local medical facility where heโs listed in stable condition and expected to survive.
The Geneva Police Departmentโs Detective Bureau has determined that this was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community.
They say the investigation remains ongoing.
