The Geneva YMCA, in collaboration with Geneva Summer Festival director Bill Greco, has announced the return of the beloved Geneva Summer Festival on July 5 and 6, promising a weekend full of entertainment and community spirit. Scheduled to take place at the City of Geneva’s Recreation Complex, the festival aims to replicate the success of last year’s event, which attracted thousands from across the region. With free admission, the festival will feature child-friendly activities, live music, and an assortment of popular festival foods at affordable prices.
Highlighting the success of previous attractions, the festival will once again host a spectacular fireworks show off the Geneva pier and the Geneva Firefighters Parade, alongside a special celebration for the Geneva Fire Departments. This year also introduces a new feature, offering local nonprofits the opportunity to present and display at the Recreation Complex at no cost, fostering community engagement and support.
The Geneva YMCA is extending an invitation for sponsorships and volunteer participation from civic groups and individuals. This initiative not only aims to provide entertainment but also to strengthen community bonds and support local causes, making the Geneva Summer Festival a cornerstone event for residents and visitors alike.
