Google has stepped into the chatbot arena with the launch of its latest tool, Bard.
In a blog post, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that Bard will be opened to trusted testers starting Monday, with plans to make it publicly available in the coming weeks.
Bard, like ChatGPT, is built on a large language model and draws on information from the web to provide fresh and high-quality responses.
However, the use of AI chatbots in search raises concerns over the potential perpetuation of biases and spread of misinformation. Pichai emphasized the need for responsible usage of these models in the world.
