Herons soar over Raptors 74-46

The William Smith basketball team dominated the first quarter and never looked back in a 74-46 Liberty League win over Bard this afternoon. First-yearย Miranda Martinย led the way with a game-high 13 points for the Herons.

Martin was 6-of-13 with a 3-pointer and added four rebounds. She was joined in double digits by seniorย Brooke Jarvis, who posted 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting and a 2-for-2 effort at the free throw line. Sophomoreย Carly Scottย logged a season-high nine points, all from beyond the 3-point arc. William Smith featured a balanced offense as 12 of the 14 Herons to play notched at least two points.

Lexi Miller was the lone Raptor to reach double digits. She finished with a team-high 12 points and a game-high 17 rebounds.
