Jeff Skinner recorded his seventh career hat trick as the Buffalo Sabres rolled past the Seattle Kraken, 6-2, at Climate Pledge Arena on Monday night.
Buffalo (33-31-5) fell behind 1-0 just 24 seconds into the contest but quickly responded with three goals in five minutes and never looked back, notching their first-ever victory against the Kraken (28-27-2).
Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch each tallied a goal and an assist, while Owen Power also found the back of the net. Zemgus Girgensons added two helpers, his first multi-point game of the season.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 32-of-34 shots, including 18 in the final 20 minutes.
Buffalo went 0-for-2 on the power play and 4-for-5 on the penalty kill.

The Sabres will continue their road trip on Tuesday when they visit the Vancouver Canucks at 10 p.m.
