The Seneca County Board of Supervisors has announced the appointment of Kyle Lovell as the County’s next Manager, a decision made during their meeting on August 22, 2023.
Chairman of the Seneca County Board of Supervisors, Michael Enslow, expressed his confidence in Lovell’s capability to helm the county’s operations. While acknowledging the void left by the retiring Mitch Rowe, Enslow remarked, “We are confident that Kyle can lead our team of supervisors, department heads, and employees into the future.”
Jeffrey Trout, Town of Fayette Supervisor and Chair of the Human Resources and Government Operations Committee, mirrored Enslow’s sentiment. He highlighted Lovell’s enthusiasm, innovative approach, and ability to pick up the mantle from Rowe. “Kyle’s amazing energy and world-class ideas will blend seamlessly with Mitch’s phenomenal dedication and ‘get things done’ legacy,” Trout commented.
The board also took the opportunity to extend gratitude to the outgoing County Manager, Mitch Rowe, for his years of unwavering commitment to the people of Seneca County. “Very few people have made such a selfless commitment,” added Chairman Enslow.
Responding to the Board’s sentiments, Rowe expressed gratitude for his tenure since his return to Seneca County in 2018 and assured his availability for any future assistance.
