Leonard’s Express announces new partnership with ISAAC Instruments to enhance operations: How will it work?

Leonard’s Express, a prominent North American refrigerated carrier, has announced a new partnership with ISAAC Instruments to enhance its fleet operations. The Farmington, N.Y.-based company will implement ISAAC’s electronic logging device (ELD) and driver-centric telematics solution across its entire fleet, which includes 640 trucks and 1,100 trailers. This move aims to optimize the daily routines of Leonard’s drivers and ensure the safety of their cargo.

The decision to collaborate with ISAAC stems from Leonard’s Express’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology for its fleet. According to Chris DeMillo, Vice President of IT at Leonard’s Express, the key factors influencing this choice were the streamlined workflow experience and strong integration capabilities of ISAAC’s system with the TMW Transportation Management System (TMS). The new system is expected to provide a competitive edge through enhanced in-cab experiences, helping drivers navigate their tasks more efficiently.

ISAAC’s involvement with Leonard’s Express kicked off with a “Destination ISAAC” event at the company’s headquarters in December, where the ISAAC team assisted with implementation and training. The full deployment of the new platform across Leonard’s fleet is scheduled for early 2024. Jacques DeLarochelliere, CEO and Co-founder of ISAAC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the opportunity to improve driver experience and overall productivity for the well-regarded trucking fleet.
