Deputies provided an update on a crash that happened Wednesday at the intersection of State Route 21 and Duel Road in Canandaigua.
According to a news release, Susan Harris, 73, of Macedon was traveling south, waiting to turn left onto Duel Road, when Benjamin Wilson, 32, of Rushville, was traveling south on Route 21.
He rear-ended Harris, which sent her vehicle forward.
Deputies say Harris was unresponsive when first responders arrived on-scene, but she regained a pulse and began breathing before being airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital with internal injuries.
Wilson was also sent to Thompson Hospital for minor injuries. He was ticketed for following too closely.
State Route 21 was closed while crews worked the scene.
