In a significant crackdown on narcotics in the Finger Lakes region law enforcement agencies have arrested 10 individuals following a detailed investigation. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and other local agencies conducted multiple search warrants across Ontario, Monroe, Wayne, Seneca, and Oneida Counties on June 20, 2023, uncovering a substantial amount of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, firearms, and around $30,000 in cash.
The Ontario County Court issued indictment warrants on January 2 based on the evidence gathered during the investigation. The following day, a coordinated effort by several law enforcement departments led to the arrest of 10 out of 11 indicted individuals in the region. Those arrested include Joemaine Bogan, Willie Smallwood, Marc Russ, Lexie White, David DelValle, Tyson Moody, Kyle Shorter, Joseph McClam, Tasha Steele, and Aubrey Reed. Sharif Parker, the eleventh defendant, remains at large with an active arrest warrant.
Each defendant faces various felony and misdemeanor charges. Sharif Parker, also known as “Reef,” has been indicted for crimes including conspiracy, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, and money laundering. Joemaine Bogan, or “Maino,” faces similar charges, including multiple counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Weapon charges.
Other defendants, such as David Delvalle, Joseph McClam, Tyson Moody, Aubrey Reed, Tosha Steele, Willie Smallwood, Marc Russ, Kyle Shorter, and Lexie White, have also been charged with conspiracy and various degrees of drug possession and paraphernalia charges. Many of them were released to pre-trial services or on their own recognizance after arraignment on January 3.
