J.D. Martinez has finally found a home.
According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Mets have signed the designated hitter to a one-year contract worth $12 million.
Martinez, 36, slashed .271/.321/.572 with 33 home runs and 103 RBI in 113 games for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.
The 13-year veteran reportedly turned down offers from the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Angels before agreeing to a deal with the Mets.
