The New York Mets (35-41) snapped a three-game skid with a 4-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies (39-37) on Saturday evening at Citizens Bank Park.
Max Scherzer tossed six innings of two-run ball while striking out eight, and the bullpen combined for three shutout frames to secure the much-needed win.
After Brooks Raley and Adam Ottavino each recorded two outs, David Robertson picked up a five-out save, his 11th of the season.
Starling Marte belted his fourth home run of the season, while Brandon Nimmo, Pete Alonso, and Tommy Pham collected RBI.
The Mets will hand the ball to Carlos Carrasco on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. as they look for a series win.
