New Jersey woman arrested in Seneca Falls for driving under influence of drugs

The Seneca Falls Police Department, in conjunction with the New York State Police, executed an arrest on September 24 during a traffic safety checkpoint operation on State Route 5&20.

Jennifer Hammond, a 28-year-old resident of Newark, New Jersey, was pulled over at approximately 9:04 p.m. and was subsequently arrested for DWAI drugs.

The arrest occurred after it was ascertained that Hammond was operating her vehicle under the influence of drugs and had suspended operating privileges in New York State.

Hammond faced additional charges including DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Hammond was released on appearance tickets for all the aforementioned charges and is scheduled to respond to these charges in Seneca Falls Town Court at an unspecified later date.
